Derrick Miller did an awesome job with my case. Started as a terriost threat charge, he was able to get it down to simple assault, down to harassment, all the way down to a local noise ordinance. He was always available when I needed to ask a question, very professional and not to mention affordable. Honestly, throughout my whole case, having Jeremy as my lawyer was a flawless process (weird to say). I was in the Marines, stationed in NJ (originally from Louisiana), and I went for a weekend late-night drive. I had lived in New Jersey for about three years at this point. Unfortunately, I got profiled for a BS traffic stop, and things went on from there that shouldn't have ever happened. But, life goes on. Their portal is great/simple, and the communication (updates/follow-ups) is top-shelf. I was a bit surprised sometimes, like, to me, you have other clients; I'm that type of guy. I wasn't afraid of any outcome. I only had a few speeding tickets in my life, so I didn't know the process outside the military. I can say Jeremy always kept me knowledgeable about my rights and state laws, etc. A shiny nickel for sure, but great representation. I was almost t-boned in front of my home by a reckless driver (I was turning left, they tried to pass on left; idiot). I overreacted and caused an accident (I responded poorly) and needed legal help for the first time in my life. Both Mr. Miller and Mr. Lackey were involved and resolved the matter exceptionally.

Wow wow wow I had my court case today after years of me trying to get this restraining order dropped and the female was not trying to drop it at all I mean for years she just been playing hard ball other lawyers I have hired failed and failed bad to the point they had other lawyers in their office just take the case and I was not going anywhere with it so long story short I went on google seen some reviews and was like let me see if these reviews are really what they make this law firm about so I called Derek and explained my situation and not once did he say he couldn’t handle it, he actually told me straight out his mouth were going to fight it cause it’s your word against hers and aslong as I was being real with him he’s going to be real with me and he was not lying he was all the way honest with everything he said he never left me In the dark about anything not once did I feel left out he made me feel like we was going to win before we even hit the court room that’s how confident he is and skilled person he is he knew everything to say and I’m like what did this guy do that my other lawyers did not do lol even when the case was going on he seen I was getting frustrated at points and just gave me a hand signal to not say nothing and keep my calm so I listened and he made a miracle happen and when I say it was a miracle it really was I’m still confused on what happened lol but all I know is if you need a case handled don’t look no other place this is the firm you want to come to cause if he can’t handle it he definitely will tell you that you don’t have a case but if he can trust and believe in him cause he definitely got you and when he say keep calm he got this just shut up and listen cause he’s not lying Derek is the man you want to see when I left the court room I couldn’t stop texting him all the way home cause I was so happy lol just give him a shot and I bet you won’t be disappointed Derek your the Man 💪🏾💪🏾

I had a serious case and among 3 law firms I contacted Lackey & Miller gave me the cheapest fees with the best payment plans.

I wanted the attorney to talk to the prosecutor to see how the charges will be reduced. One law firm told me categorically that that's a mere impossibility and that they will just apply me to a diversionary program. Derek on the other hand said he will try since that will be the shortest way for me to get my life on track. That really lifted up my broken spirit.

Derek went on to secure an earlier court date for 20th Dec instead of the original date of 26th Dec for me and I was so happy. Couldn't wait for this case to be over.

Unfortunately, he reported that the prosecutor wasn't picking his calls and the office really seem adamant to reduce the charges.

My wife, family and friends and I kept fasting and praying.

Derek was always there to pick my calls and guide me. We decided to go with the pti and even with that he went a step further to ascertain that I can even do that out of state.

He had told me the chances of the prosecutor reducing the charge is 10%. My wife and I used the 10% to pray telling God He can turn that into our favor.

Six days before the court date Derek called that the prosecutor has agreed to reduce the charges.

You can imagine our joy!

Infact, all 3 original charges were dropped and I was given a lesser charge and  had to plead guilty to that so I can move on with my career.

Derek did this for me in less than a month.

I highly recommend Lackey & Miller.
